Orion is reinforcing its current 11kV network in Papanui. This project is different from others as it’s particularly complex due to the busy urban environment and multiple constraints. The project includes a full range of PJL services including cable laying (11kV cables and fibre ducts), 11kV jointing, fibre duct jointing, 400V cable works, trenching and reinstatement, traffic management, and specialised services including hydro excavation, air excavation, asphalting, and directional drilling.
Undertaking this major project requires constant communication with multiple stakeholders throughout the project and smooth, on-point, and high-quality delivery.
